I would like to introduce Tachibanaya Shokudo, a long-established restaurant in Suo Oshima-cho, Yamaguchi Prefecture, which has been in business for nearly 70 years.
The restaurant has long been loved not only by tourists but also by locals.
The signature dish, “Ramen” (Chinese noodles, 700 yen)!
It looks like old-fashioned Chinese noodles, but the golden broth is superb, with the dried sardine broth working well!
The noodles are medium-thick with a slightly high water content (at the time of my visit), and the Char-siu pork is thick, juicy, and deeply delicious.
If you finish the soup, you and I will both be Suo-Oshima residents!
