”Seichan” is known as one of the most difficult places to make a reservation in Hiroshima.

The owner, an elderly woman, was running the restaurant by herself and was wrapping Japanese dumplings by hand at 3:30 p.m. when the restaurant opened at 5:00 p.m. When I asked her, she told me that I could take them out to go!

I asked her if she could bake take-out dumplings, and she said, “I’m too busy at night to bake dumplings for you, but I can bake them now…” I asked her to bake them for me.

The brown wrapping paper with another bottle of ponzu sauce and green onion.

When I open the brown paper, it is carefully wrapped in kitchen paper.

Sweat of hands…? No, no, it is absorbing excess oil!

And the dumplings are ready!

They are grilled to a golden brown!

Eight dumplings used to cost a little over 400 yen per serving, but now they cost 600 yen. Considering the cost of ingredients, labor, and love put into them, they are still inexpensive in this era of petit inflation.

The dumplings were reheated well, and just like in the restaurant, the outside was crispy and fried, and the inside was juicy.

How delicious when eaten with green onion ponzu sauce!

Azuki bar ice cream is the last dish served at the restaurant.
